Mr. Rambabu Gupta

Dr. Rambabu Gupta is a Rajasthan-based Pulmonologist specialising in chest, tuberculosis and respiratory diseases. He completed his MBBS from SMS Medical College in 1979. He then studied and trained in the Chest & TB Department of the same institution, receiving the postgraduate MD degree in 1984. He worked at the Chest & TB Hospital from 1984 onwards until he retired from service in 2009 as Deputy Superintendent.

Dr. Rambabu Gupta currently practises at the Gupta Chest and General Hospital in Jhotwara, Jaipur. At the hospital, facilities for routine laboratory tests, X-rays, ECG, PFT tests and bronchoscopy are available. The 25-bed hospital has a round-the-clock emergency service.

Dr. Rambabu Gupta has contributed more than ten papers on topics relating to his areas of specialisation in various medical journals such as the Indian Journal of Tuberculosis, Chest, Current Medical Trends, etc. He is on the governing council of the Jaipur branch of the Indian Medical Association and other societies and associations. He is currently President-elect of the Indian Association for Bronchology and will serve as its President for the 2015-16 term.
